This weekend, the Brevard Elite 4th and 6th grade teams competed against others that hail from Florida's North District. The three day event tested our teams, but ultimately led each to the same location on Sunday afternoon.......the District Championship game.
On Sunday afternoon, the 4th grade team stepped onto the court against C3 Sports and fought for the right to be labeled as the champions of Florida's North District. After 28 minutes of play, the team emerged with the win.
After navigating its way through three days of competition, including a late night game on Saturday, the 6th grade team stepped onto the court for the championship game against a seasoned Jacksonville Magic team. The young men of our team contiue to improve each time they step on the court. In the final game, they put on a valiant performance before falling just short of their goal and walking away with a solid 2nd place finish.
We are very proud of our each of these teams. They competed fiercely and showed great pride and sportsmanship in the face of this weekend's challenges.
