The Brevard Elite 5th Graders completed a successful season today, as they exited the Bethany Christian School gym after a hard fought 56-49 loss to the Carolina Kings.

Through the week, the young men went toe to toe with the very best teams our country has to offer in the Division I AAU National Championships.  Often times, the young men faced off against larger squads and larger players.  They faced programs that have had great success throughout various regions of the country.  Through all the challenges, our team remained poised, confident and aggressive.  Regardless of the situation, they fought for every possession, every basket and every rebound.  As the final buzzer sounded, they walked off the court knowing they gave everything they had to the game and this season.  We are all very proud of them.    

This season, we have seen these young men grow as individuals and as a team.  Their hard work and dedication showed each time they were on the court.  Through discipline and unselfish play, the team reached great heights.  As the season comes to a close, we are all thankful for the success the team achieved.  The young men grew as players and as people.  As the players and team continue to evolve in the years to come, it is exciting to imagine what these young men will accomplish both on and off the court.

After tough losses to the San Diego Rebels and the West Coast All Stars, the Brevard Elite 5th Grade team advanced in today's action with a forfeit win over New Jersey's National Basketball Academy and a hard fought 57-49 win this evening over Team Carolina.  With the wins, our 5th graders advance to tomorrow's quarter-final game against the Carolina Kings at Bethany Christian School at 1:00.

The Brevard Elite 5th Grade Team will tip off play on Monday, July 15, 2013 at the BCC Main Campus.  They will face off against the nation's top Division I 5th Grade teams.  The scheduled is shown below.

The Brevard Elite 7th Graders wrapped a week of tough competition Saturday evening.  Through the week, the team cemented itself as one of the best 7th grade teams in the country.  With no loss coming by more than 6 points, the young men showed what dedication and hard work can accomplish. 

Many thanks to the coaches, parents and sponsors that helped these young men reach such great success. 

Next year will be even better.......
