The Brevard Elite 5th Grade team spent this weekend competing in the Orangeburg Xpress Boys Super Regional in Orangeburg, SC. As was the case last weekend in Jacksonville, the team battled through the competition and is heading home with the championship. Competition wrapped up Sunday afternoon with a thrilling 50-46 overtime victory.
The Brevard Elite 5th Grade team will spend this coming week in final preparations for the upcoming Disney Spring Classic in Orlando, FL. In that tournament, the team will be joined by the Brevard Elite teams in the 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels.
